As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav and Har Ghar Tiranga abhiyaan, a painting competition is being organized in 'Gandhi Darshan', near Rajghat on August 13, 2022. Thousands of children from different schools of Delhi will take part in this competition a painting competition to express their creativity through colours on the theme 'Har Ghar Tiranga'.
Giving this information, Vice-Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti and former Union Minister Vijay Goel said that on August 13, at 4 pm near Rajghat, 'Gandhi Darshan' is being decorated with Tricolor Flags, where children from different schools of Delhi from Class III to Class XII in different age groups will make paintings, in which they will be also show hoisting the Tricolor over the houses in their own unique creative way.
Goel also said that there is lot of enthusiasm among the school children about this competition. He also informed that while the children will be engaged in this creative activity, their accompanying parents will be able to visit three different museums in Gandhi Darshan complex on Gandhian philosophy.
Goel also said that in this competition, children can make a Tricolor flag with any kind/form of colours. Children will also be given information about the importance of all the colors of the Tricolor Flag on this occasion.
This type of competition is being held for the first time in 'Gandhi Darshan'. Earlier, a Tiranga Yatra was taken out at Chandni Chowk. On the one hand, there will be many children and parents who, for the first time, will visit these three museums on 'Gandhian Philosophy', such as ‘My Life is My Message exhibition, secondly – museum showing the freedom struggle through clay models and the third and most attractive 3D Digital Dome. Apart from this, the Rashtriya Swachhatta Kendra Museum, based on digital technology is another attraction which will be open for the visitors.
Every child will be given a certificate and a book on Gandhiji and attractive prizes will be given to those children who come first, second, third.
