In a significant moment for our country, India will officially assume G-20 Presidency on December 1, 2022 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take over the Presidency of G-20 on December 1.
Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Vijay Goel will celebrate this special moment by unveiling a display of the G-20 Logo at the busy and bustling Mandi House Chowk (circle) on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11.00 AM. He will also distribute sweets on the occasion.
Speaking to media persons, Vijay Goel said, “We are congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is also the chairman of Gandhi Smriti, for making India proud”.
Goel said that while releasing the logo of G-20 recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that this logo is not just a symbol, but it is an emotion, which runs in our veins. We live and harmonise with the spirit of universal brotherhood through the mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam or One Earth, One Family, One Future.”
Goel said, “In fact, in the G-20 logo and theme, we have tried to present a glimpse of our great culture to the world, a culture that is rooted in the Buddha's concept of non-violence and Mahatma Gandhi's message of peace, harmony and universalism”.
Sharing his inputs on this celebration, Goel said, “This is a great moment of victory for India under the dynamic leadership of our PM Narendra Modi to become the President of the G-20 Group. It is not only an occasion for celebration, but also to present the Indian tradition, culture and our rich heritage of almost 5000 years before the world”.
Goel further informed, “We are creating a selfie-point also so that people of all age-groups will be able to celebrate this historical moment and take a selfie.
The G-20, or Group of 20, is an intergovernmental forum of major developed and developing economies. It comprises Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the US and nations under the European Union. The G-20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation representing around 85 per cent of the global GDP, over 75 per cent of the global trade, and about two-thirds of the world’s population.

Housing To own a home, irrespective of the size, is a dream cherished by many. I understand this sentiment and that is why I championed the cause to help protect the applicants who were promised homes and felt cheated by the Delhi government.
Power is one of the basic amenities of life happens to be a matter of great concern for the citizens of Delhi. Faulty meters, power shortage and inflated power bills are the most common grievances faced by every other citizen.

Chandni Chowk I have a keen interest in exploring and learning about culture, traditions and Heritage. Chandni Chowk, my former parliamentary constituency, is a perfect example of the multicultural and multi-religious India.
