GUWAHATI: Struggling to get a foothold in Assam since the assembly poll debacle in 2011, the BJP's state unit is set to overhaul its leadership and bring young and fresh faces into the party's top brass. With BJP state president Ranjit Dutta's tenure as a president ending on November, the change in leadership expected to be finalized before the state panchayat polls in December. BJP's national general secretary Bijay Goel, who is also the observer of the state, said the party is keen to blood promising youngster in their fold. Admitting the party's failure with strategies and leadership, Goel said that the change will help them for the panchayat elections. "Fresh faces will be given more responsibilities with the party set for significant changes in the coming days. The change in leadership will be as per the party's constitution," said Goel.
