Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel congratulated Shri Piyush Goyal for presenting the interim budget, 2019 which has greatly benefited middle class tax payers, farmers, workers, small businesses, poor and marginalised.
Goel said that the Modi Government has left no stone unturned in presenting a pro-people’s budget and has focused on building the foundations of New India.Goel hailed the historic announcement of farmer income support scheme (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) in which farmers will be provided an income support of Rs. 6000/- per year for each farmer having less than 2 hectare of land holding.This scheme will benefit 12 crore marginal farmers and an outlay of Rs. 75000 crores for 2019 has been proposed.
Goel said that the budget clearly reflects that the Central Government is sensitive towards the felt needs of its citizens and it completely aware of the problems being faced by different sections of the Society.In a historic move this Government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Shri Narendra Modi has announced an exemption of tax from the Income of upto Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum which will tremendously ease the lives of taxpayers.
Going further the TDS threshold on interest earned from Bank/Post Office deposits has also been raised from Rs. 10,000 to 40,000.Goel Said that this the Government has undertaken massive transformational structural reforms and is moving towards realising a New India by 2022 when it celebrates 75 years of its Independence where everyone will have a house with toilets, water and electricity.
