The Pioneer- Goel’s padayatra in Kirti Nagar to spread drug abuse awareness

Eyeing the Lok Sabha Election 2019, Union Minister and former Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vijay Goel held a padayatra on Sunday from Jawahar Camp JJ colony in Kirti Nagar to spread awareness about the rising menace of the drug abuse in Delhi.

“Drug will be a big electoral issue. Intoxication in any form is harmful to health and society.  Expressing concern over the increasing consumption of drugs and other intoxicants in Delhi, Goel said that the Kejriwal government responsible for the terrible condition. “Kejriwal is worried about critical situation of drug abuse in Punjab but in the last four years he remained silent on the growing influence of drugs in Delhi,” he said.

Goel said that after the movement on social evil like Lottery, he will continuously agitate against drugs, and in this Lok Sabha election, even in the upcoming assembly elections, the issue of growing trade of drug will be the major issue in Delhi. Goel further said that Kejriwal would not make drug abuse an election agenda since he has not taken a single, remedial measure on this front till date; the de-addiction programmes. “Drug addiction is increasingly becoming a serious problem that continues

to claim innocent lives and affects the future of youths since many of them drop out of their schools and colleges,” he said.

Goel said he would make drug abuse a major issue in the upcoming polls to save the health and future of thousands of kids and youths in Delhi.
