With the slogan of “Ek Ladoo, Ek Plastic”, Sewa Saptah tomorrow at Ajmeri Gate;
Goel flagged off Rajlakshmi Nanda’s “No to Plastic” rally from Delhi to Vadnagar, Gujrat;
New Delhi, September 16, 2019: MP and former BJP Delhi President, Vijay Goel, said that along with Union Minister V.K Singh, he will organise a camp on PM Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday and will do sewa during “Sewa Saptah’s No to Plastic” campaign under the theme of “One Ladoo- One Plastic”.
Goyal told that 1000 kg laddus have been prepared for this program so that those who are ready to boycott plastic will bring some plastic items like water bottle etc., and then they will be given ladoos on Modi ji's birthday. The message of this is that we should work on one or another evil of the society even during the occasions of happiness.
Goel said that PM Shri Modi ji spends his Diwali with soldiers in Siachen, flood victims of Kashmir and his birthday is also celebrated by doing Sewa.
Goel along with Dr. Satyanarayan Jatiya today visited the patients at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and distributed them fruits. He also wish them speedy recovery.
Goel also gave green signal to Tamil Nadu’s Rajlakshmi Nanda, who travelled 33000km on a motorcycle, with the message of “No to Plastic” under the Sewa Saptah. Rajlakshmi will travel from Delhi to Gujrat’s Vadnagar. Prior to this, she has travelled from Kanyakumari to Kashmir against Article 370. Goel wished her well for the journey.
Goel said that he started the “No to Plastic” campaign from Palika Bazaar and that this campaign is organised daily at one place or another by the Party and voluntary organisations.
Plastic causes pollution, damages the environment, chokes drains, is injurious to health, and animals die by consuming it. Therefore, everyone should come together on Prime Minister’s birthday and support him on “Say no to plastic” just like Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
