With the message to his party workers that he would give them the Government in Delhi provided they gave him 200 days, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union Minister Vijay Goel on Sunday took charge as the new president of Delhi unit of the party. Reaching the party office to the bursting of crackers, shouting of slogans and recitation of mantras, Mr Goel, who took over charge from outgoing president Vijender Gupta in the presence of senior Delhi leaders including Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly V.K. Malhotra, his predecessor Jagdish Mukhi, former Delhi BJP presidents Harsh Vardhan, Mange Ram Garg and O.P. Kohli among others, vowed to ensure the victory of the party in the Delhi Assembly elections due later this year.
