NEW DELHI: BJP on Friday slammed Aam Aadmi Party for its "failure" to check air pollution and "politicising" the issue.
While Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari alleged that chief minister Arvind Kejriwal distributed masks to schoolchildren and got photographs clicked to take "political mileage", Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel sat on a day-long dharna to " put pressure on" Delhi government to take effective steps to check pollution levels. Kejriwal, however, said such acts "undermine the seriousness" of the problem and denied the charge that the AAP government was politicising the issue.
