New Delhi, November 11, 2019: On the occasion of Guru Nanak's 550th birth anniversary "Guru Parv" , MP and former BJP Delhi President, Vijay Goel paid obeisance and offered "jodon ki sewa" at the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi.
Goel said that the true meaning of offering prayers and rituals is by helping the poor. Sewa does not mean offering services at only religious places, it also means helping the underprivileged wherever possible.
Thanking Modi ji, Goel said that with the opening of Kartarpur Corrdior, thousands of Sikhs spread across India will be able to visit and offer prayers at historic Darbar Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan.
Goel said that those politicising Kartarpur can politicise it as much as they want but unlike them, Modi ji only works and delivers. Let it be Kartarpur, Ram Mandir, Teen Talaq, Article 370 or GST.
Goel said that everyone should learn from the teachings of Guru Nanak Ji in their life. Along with offering prayers, we should also not discriminate on the basis of caste, creed or religion, and all religion are one etc to imply in our day to day life.
Goel said that we should spread message of Guru Nanak Ji across the world.
Goel said that Sikhs across the world are offering seva let it be in conflict zones of Syria, Iraq ,Iran or places struck with natural calamities like earthquake, floods etc. Sikhism means sacrifice.
