New Delhi, February 14, 2023:
Former Union Minister and President of Lok Abhiyan, Vijay Goel will stage a dharna tomorrow, February 15, 2023 at Jantar Mantar demanding action against corrupt officials responsible for unauthorized construction in Mehrauli.
  Appealing to Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, Goel said that the vandalism happening in Mehrauli should be stopped until the process of sacking the corrupt officers responsible for this illegality is completed.
  Goel said that first of all, these corrupt officials help unauthorized constructions to be completed by taking bribe and then they make the innocent people cry by demolishing their houses.
Vijay Goel further said that Delhi government, MCD, DDA, Delhi Court should decide that no construction can be demolished until action is taken against the officials responsible for unauthorized constructions.
Goel also appealed to the Lt Governor that on the one hand these unauthorized constructions are being demolished and on the other hand new unauthorized constructions are going on in Delhi with government connivance.
Goel also said that a single window system should also be made, in which the general public would immediately know which construction is illegal and which is legal.
Goel further informed that when the public sees that many unauthorized constructions have taken place and they are not even disturbed, they are encouraged to build their homes in these government land-encroached constructions.
Vijay Goel also said that no one has the right to encroach on government land and that it should be kept in mind by all. However it is necessary for the government to also put up its own boards and boundary walls on its lands/plots.

Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Vijay Goel today welcomed Lieutenant General Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of Royal Cambodian Army in Gandhi Smriti and presented him with the autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi and a Gandhi Charkha.
 
Vijay Goel also welcomed H.E. Mr. Ung Sean, Ambassador of Cambodia in India on the occasion.
 
Commander in Chief Lt. Gen. Hun Manet paid tribute by offering flowers at the martyrdom site of Mahatma Gandhi. Lt. Gen. Hun Manet is not only the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, but also the son of the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Mr. Hun Sen.
 
Lt. Gen. Hun Manet also saw the museum in Gandhi Smriti and visited the room where Gandhiji spent the last 144 days of his life and remembered Gandhiji.
 
Goel told the visiting delegate that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the chairman of the 'Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti' and that he has great faith in the principles of Mahatma Gandhi. The Modi government is following the path shown by Gandhiji.

Hon'ble Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Shri Vijay Goel and many dignitaries paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Gandhi Smriti on the 75th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi . An all-religion prayer meeting was also organised on the occasion. Children spun on the charkha throughout the programme.
Children from 22 schools of Delhi and students from G20 countries were also present in the programme.
Famous singer Udit Narayan presented devotional music on the occasion. Devotional music reverberated in the lawns of Gandhi Smriti with Bapuji's favorite bhajan Vaishnav Jana tau and Ram Dhun.
Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti Shri Vijay Goyal said that Mahatma Gandhi is the biggest name in the history of Indian independence. Bapu's admirers are spread all over the world. Today it has been 75 years since he left this world, but even today the whole country remembers the Father of the Nation. It is indeed a matter of great pride that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India today heads the G-20 group of nations.
The program ended with a silent tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

New Delhi, January 21, 2023
Over a thousand students, youth and children belonging to G-20 countries, colleges and schools of Delhi and NCR participated in the ‘G-20 March for World Peace’ on January 21, 2023. The March was organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti and was flagged off by former Union Minister and Vice Chairman, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Shri Vijay Goel from Gandhi Darshan, near Rajghat and culminated to Charti Lal Goel Heritage Park opposite Red Fort.
Led by Shri Vijay Goel, the march touched the old city of Chandni Chowk with the Diplomats from the G20 countries who also joined this March for World Peace as part of the celebrations of India taking over the Presidency of G20. India's becoming a global leader was celebrated through this march.
The marchers carried their colourful flags and placards with a message of oneness, equality, harmony underlining the theme of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or "One Earth One Family One Future”, which underlines the message of equitable growth and a shared future for all.”
Before this march, a colourful cultural program depicting the diversity of India with the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam was organized at Satyagraha Mandap located at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat. One of the highlights was the New Year Song presented by the students of China that enthralled the people. Apart from this, children from Andhra Education Society, Mount Abu Public School, Universal Public School, Evergreen Public School and artists from Manzil Mystics also presented various cultural programmes. School children also gave a soulful rendition of patriotic tunes on the band during the March.
In his address, Vijay Goel said that it is a matter of pride for India to assume the presidency of G20 countries. It has made every Indian proud. Today India has become famous in the world under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today we are moving towards becoming a global leader (Vishwaguru). We are thankful to Modiji for this glorious moment. He said that it is a proud moment for us, when we will show the world a glimpse of our strong global leadership by hosting the meeting of G-20 countries. He expressed gratitude on behalf of Gandhi Smriti and Gandhi Darshan to the representatives of different countries who attended the programme.
Representatives of G-20 countries such as Russia, China, Mexico, Germany and Saudi Arabia participated in this programme with full enthusiasm. Other international students from different colleges and universities representing Uganda, Ghana, Mali, Mauritius, USA, Vietnam, Austria, Botswana, South Sudan, Fiji and Bangladesh participated. Vijay Goel felicitated the students on the occasion.

Hundreds of students belonging to G-20 countries will participate in ‘G-20 March for World Peace’ on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from Gandhi Darshan, near Rajghat. Diplomats from the G20 countries will also join in this March for World Peace. The March is being organised by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti as part of the celebrations of India taking over the Presidency of G20. India's becoming a global leader will be celebrated through this march.

Informing about this Vice Chairman Gandhi Smriti and former Union Minister Vijay Goel informed that the G20 March for World Peace will begin at 10 AM on January 21 from Satyagraha Mandap at Gandhi Darshan at Rajghat. This march will start from Gandhi Darshan and conclude by reaching Chartilal Goel Heritage Park located in front of the historic Red Fort.

Vijay Goel said that it is a matter of pride for us to assume the Presidency of the G20 countries under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Vijay Goel welcomed German Federal Foreign Minister Ms. Annalena Baerbock at Gandhi Smriti on December 5, 2022 on her arrival to India.  
On her arrival to Gandhi Smriti, Vijay Goel presented Ms. Annelana Baerbock with the spinning wheel, which became Mahatma Gandhi’s symbol of self reliance during India’s freedom movement. Goel also gave took Ms. Annelana to Mahatma Gandhi’s room where he (Gandhiji) had spent the last 144 days of his life till the January 30, 1948, when his epic life ended.
Goel also led Ms. Annalena to the Martyr’s Column the martyrdom site of Mahatma Gandhi, where Ms. Baerbock offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
A member of the delegation accompanying Ms. Annelana Baerbock informed that on reaching India, the first thing that Mrs. Annelana wanted to do, was to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and draw inspiration from his enigmatic life.

Ms. Baerbock is on a two-day official visit to India during which she will sign comprehensive partnership agreements on migration and mobility and focus on ways to ramp up bilateral cooperation, especially in areas of energy, trade and climate change.

G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant and Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Vijay Goel unveiled the display of the G-20 Logo at Mandi House Chowk on December 1, 2022 on the occasion of India taking over the Presidency of G-20. A large number of youth took part in the programme with fervor.
Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Kant termed it a historic moment saying that it is a big responsibility for India as the G20 accounts for 85 per cent of the global GDP and two-thirds of the world population.
Kant also said that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make G-20 action oriented, inclusive, reform-oriented, and forward looking.

He will also distribute sweets on the occasion.

New Delhi, November 08, 2022': Gandhi Smriti and Gandhi Darshan' is going to organize an international conference in the university campus in association with the Delhi University that will focus on commitment of Gandhiji's values and ideals in building a New India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Giving this information, Vice-Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Vijay Goel said that this conference will be inaugurated by the Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, on November 10, 2022, at 3 PM in the Multipurpose Hall, University of Delhi. In the program, along with the Vice President, the Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar, will be especially present, and the inaugural session will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University Prof. Yogesh Singh.
Goel said that the main purpose of organising this programby Gandhi Smriti and Drashan Samiti in association with University of Delhi is that the students and youth of the University should be associated with Gandhiji's thoughts on one side, and the spirit of Swadeshi which has been envisioned by Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi through the new start-ups of the country and also in new research and new industries and technology that should be adopted by the youth.
Goel said that at present, we are developing the country's infrastructure in such a way that from defense to other sectors, we become self-reliant and strengthen the slogan of self-reliance given by the Prime Minister.
Goel also said that in this Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav, India is nourishing its all-round development, its glorious history and culture. India is not only engaged in becoming self-reliant, but is playing an important role in solving the problems of the world.
Goel said, The combination of the three ‘I’s – infrastructure, information and innovation would bring people together towards making India as one of the most powerful nations of the world”.

Parents of Children of Hindu-Muslim raised the Tricolor with their children

New Delhi August 13, 2022: Thousands of children participate in a painting competition on the theme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's slogan 'Har Ghar Tiranga' in 'Gandhi Darshan' today. 
Vice Chairman of 'Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti' and former Union Minister Vijay Goel said that in this competition people from all corners of Delhi, Haryana, Jaipur, Faridabad had come and made very beautiful pictures of the Tricolour showcasing their unique creativity. 

Goel said that a large number of Hindu, Muslim parents of all religions brought their children and they took their photographs with the Tricolours and also encouraged the children to make the National Flag.

Vijay Goel said that while the children were busy in making their paintings, their parents had visited three museums in 'Gandhi Darshan' – My Life is My Message, Rashtriya Swachhatta Kendra, Exhibition on clay models depicting the freedom struggle and the fascinating 3D digital Dome.

Many people came to Gandhi Darshan for the first time and they were elated . The children brought different colours and when they were asked on who gave the slogan 'Har Ghar Tiranga', the children said, our Modi ji,  Prime Minister of the country.

Vijay Goel further said that every child was given a children's book on Gandhi ji 'Moniya Khel-Khel Mein' and each participating child would be given certificate of participation and the winners would be given attractive prizes.

Goel also said that these paintings will be put on display through an exhibition and we would like the Prime Minister to see these paintings made by children, because he loves children very much.

Vijay Goel said that such programs would be  frequent in ,Gandhi Darshan'. Earlier, a Tricolor padyatra was taken out at Chandni Chowk.

During the competition Vijay Goel went near each participating children and encouraged them. The children and their accompanying parents enthusiastically participated in it. 

The parents believed that such a special event inculcates the feeling of patriotism and patriotism in the children and this happy moment will remain for a long time in the memory of children.
