Goel poses 9 questions to Kejriwal
Statement made by Former Union Minister Vijay Goel in the Press Conference
1. Goel poses 9 questions to Kejriwal
2. Kejriwal is deceiving 27.6 lakh consumers of Jal Board in the name of one-time settlement scheme – Goel
3. Will the money of consumers who have paid wrong bills, be refunded?
4. Where has Kejriwal's “Future Software” gone, under which the consumer will prepare the bill themselves – Goel
New Delhi, June 17, 2023: Launching a scathing attack on Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal over the one-time settlement policy announcement of water bills for almost 11.7 lakh consumers, former Union Minister Vijay Goel said that the Chief Minister of Delhi is continuously deceiving and misguiding the people of Delhi regarding water bills. Goel said that the government has no control over the Jal Board. There is huge corruption in it and now to hide the corruption, this one-time settlement scheme is being introduced on water bills.
Goel said that nothing has been finalized about this scheme yet and the Chief Minister has announced it without thinking, because people's water bills amounting to Rs 3 to 4 lakhs is being charged owing to which a lot of pressure is put on the government.
Goel said that a video of Kejriwal is in the public domain, in which he has been saying since 2016 that there is huge fraud in the bills of 27.6 lakh consumers. It was Kejriwal who had announced in 2016 that he would make a “Future Software”, in which consumers would be able to take meter readings from their mobile itself and generate the bill themselves, which will prevent wrong meter reading. Where has the “Future Software” of the Chief Minister disappeared, questioned Goel?
Kejriwal has himself admitted that due to corruption in Jal Board, bills have been generated by taking false readings. Moreover, the consumers are being threatened that if they do not pay the bills according to the new readings within three (3) months then they will have to pay the bills with wrong readings.
Goel also posed 9 questions to Arvind Kejriwal:
1. Thousands of consumers who have paid all the old bills on the basis of wrong meter readings, will their bills be rectified and the amount be refunded?
2. So far, how many crores of rupees have been deposited by how many consumers on the basis of wrong bills?
3. The Chief Minister has accepted that the bills of 95 percent people are wrong, in which the meter reader is at fault and bribe has also been sought in this. What action will be taken against these corrupt meter readers?
4. Officials of Jal Board say that no plan is final yet, so on what basis has the Chief Minister made this announcement?
5. The Chief Minister said in a video that due to Covid, wrong bills have been made. There was no Covid in 2016, then why corruption continued, the Chief Minister should tell?
6. The Chief Minister is saying that it will take 100 years to rectify these bills, then how will they be rectified so soon, which could not be rectified in the last 8 years?
7. Where is the ‘Future Software’ announced by Kejriwal in 2016, in which the consumers are allowed to generate the correct bill by taking the meter reading from the mobile itself?
8. Who will verify the readings of the new bills and whether there will be any court to settle the disputes arising in it?
9. Will bills be generated also for the areas where people complain that dirty water is coming in the entire colony?

Goel said that the Delhi government and the Municipal Corporation are not paying attention to the problem of stray dogs, monkeys and cows, but the whole of Delhi is in the grip of their fear.
Goel said that he is doing the work of creating awareness among the public. Goyal said that today the children have holidays but children are not seen in the parks because their parents are afraid of dog bites where the children come with their guardians.
Goel said that he had gone to Vasant Kunj to meet the mother whose children of 5 and 7 had been mauled to death by dogs, where till date someone who is known as a dog lover not went to inquire about the condition of that poor mother or did they help her.
Goel said that he is getting calls from places like Pune, Maharashtra, Kerala, Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi to hold meetings here too because the problem of dogs has increased a lot here too.
Goyal said that a person belongs to Shahdara who said that the swiper has refused to come to street here because she says that there are many dogs in this street and she is afraid to come here.
Councilor of Trinagar Meenu Goel said that people who come to visit the parks demand small sticks from us so that the roaming dogs do not come near them.
Vineeta, a resident of Trinagar, said that she has been bitten by dogs twice so far and a dog bite costs 10,000 for 4 injections and the injection given after the dog bite is also not easily available.
Trinagar RWA chief Ramesh Chander said that dogs are left on the streets, so they become stray like humans, if enclosures are made for them at different places, they will not become stray.
Ashok Sharma of Keshav Puram RWA said that the problem of cows should also be address. My wife was hit by a cow and she is still in bed.
Saurabh Gandhi of RWA Federation said that the rules of RWA Animal Welfare Board should be changed as RWA is not ready to take the responsibility of feeding the stray dogs.
Udit Prakash, a resident, said that those who call themselves dog lovers, give pieces of meat to dogs anywhere, gradually they get used to it and they become more violent, whose easy victims are children and old people.
Goel will meet the mayor and commissioner of the municipal corporation to solve the problem of dog bites
Statement given by former Union Minister and Lok Abhiyaan
President Vijay Goel in the press conference
1. Goel will meet the mayor and commissioner of the municipal corporation to solve the problem of dog bites
2. Animal Welfare Board and Health Ministry will send suggestions of RWAs to the government on the provisions
3. Dog bite solution movement will continue – Goel
New Delhi, May 11, 2023:
A meeting of RWAs was organized on May 10, 2023 at the speaker hall of the Constitution Club on the issue of stray dogs biting by 'Lok Abhiyan', and its solution.
Former Union Minister Vijay Goel has strongly condemned the ruckus and assault created by some women by forcefully entering the meeting.
Goel said that it was a well-planned conspiracy to spoil the meeting and create ruckus and for this, the Deputy Speaker's hall was booked at the same place and at the same time and when we said that these people would create ruckus, cancel their booking. .
Goel said that there are 6 lakh stray dogs in Delhi. Till now lakhs of people have been bitten by dogs in Delhi. To solve this problem, more people should look at dogs with respect, so this meeting was called.
Goel said what kind of animal lovers they are, who come to other's meetings and unnecessarily scuffle and fight, whose videos have also gone viral.
Goel told that the police were present there. This ruckus took place in the presence of the police, which has a complete video recording, on which action should be taken.
Goel said that everyone loves animals, not only dogs, but if biting becomes a big problem, then a solution has to be found. According to information received, 12, 652 cases of dog bites have come to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in the last three months – February, March and April, and 50 percent of these cases are below 14 years of age.
Goel also said that he will soon meet Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi and Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti to see how they can implement the 10-point programme issued by us yesterday to solve the problem of dog bites.
Vijay Goel said that he would also take all the information from the officials of Animal Welfare Board and Health Ministry. Goel said that many people have objections to some provisions of the rules made by the Animal Welfare Board, for that they will form a committee of RWA representatives and send their suggestions to the government.
Goel said that his movement is only because of his love for animals so that people do not consider them as their enemies. Goel said that his dog bite solution movement will continue. By holding street meetings, we will pressurize the government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to conduct a census of dogs and immediately start a campaign to sterilize them on a war footing.

2. Vijay Goel’s brings passion towards restoring old Havelis in Chandni Chowk
3. Vijay Goel dedicates newly restored Haveli to G-20 celebrating India’s presidency
4. Not only money but passion is needed to preserve the historical heritage – Vijay Goel
New Delhi, the 1st March, 2023
Former Union Minister Vijay Goel is engaged in the campaign to save the havelis, which have been a distinctive feature of Old Delhi. In this attempt, Vijay Goel has revamped the Golden Haveli in Dharmapura area of Chandni Chowk which has now become a center of attraction for people, especially foreign guests.
On March 1, 2023, Vijay Goel organized a curtain raiser for the Golden Haveli, during which invited guests were given on a tour of the newly constructed Golden Haveli when Goel briefed them about the history of the Haveli and its restoration.
After Haveli Dharmapura at Chandni Chowk, Vijay Goel took up another haveli for conservation and on April 15, 2019, took over the responsibility of conserving this 150-year-old haveli.
Informing about the Golden Haveli, Vijay Goel said that both money and passion are needed to preserve the historical heritage. He said that he feels sad to see that even if there is no money and passion, the persons from the government department, who are directly related to tourism and archeology, have never shown curiosity even to see these havelis, leave alone to preserve them.
The former Union Minister said that when he conserved the first haveli 'Haveli Dharmapura' with tireless efforts of 6 years, it was because of his passion and dedication he received a UNESCO heritage award for his efforts.
The beauty of this Golden Haveli of 200 yards, located at a distance of ten houses from Haveli Dharmapura, is an eyecatcher. Goel says that this mansion is along with the famous jeweler’s market of Chandni Chowk, Dariba and Kinari Bazaar. If you go to the roof of the haveli, you can see Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gaurishankar Temple, Jain Temple, Gurudwara Sheeshganj.
Goel said that we are celebrating India's presidency of G-20, and therefore I have named this haveli as G-20 Golden Haveli.
Goel further informed that that Golden Haveli, taken as a heritage site, not only has samples of architectural features, traditional ancient construction style, but also has a history of its own in a city like Chandni Chowk. The haveli is a significant heritage building, not only due to its distinct architectural features and traditional construction style but also due to the f act that it is a part of the wonderful ensemble in the historic core of Capital city. Its distinctive feature is the central courtyard, which had housed an “anar” tree, whose miniature verity was got from Persia and planted here. This is where Gali Anar got its name from, Goel said.
Goel said that the Haveli is built in sandstone with an imposing façade in stone carving and jaalis (trellis work). It is open on three sides and is very well ventilated. It is built in Islamic architecture style with cusped arched openings to the rooms around the courtyard with teak, sal and sheesham doors and windows (with stained glass work). The ground, first floor and terrace are very well preserved, though part of it is a later addition in the late-20th century.
Goyal got this work done with the hard work of famous architect Kapil Agarwal of Spaces Architect. Kapil Agarwal had earlier worked with Vijay Goel in restoration of Haveli Dharmapura.
